This is the most tilting thread ever, how can so many people sign up for a poker forum and be THIS ******ed.

The only clear mistake he made was the AJo, but if Shulman was playing optimally it would probably be the correct play anyway.

ya next time you have an opinion you want to post in this kind of thread, see if it contradicts what blanco has posted. If it does, and you haven't made at least $300k playing poker, you're a lock to be wrong so save your energy please.

kthx

You have got to be kidding, right? What about Mortensen and Ferguson. The Main Event was contested before the Moneymaker effect. Get a clue Bro.

People 4get that 5-10% of hands are shown on tv. Cada was building reads and getting a feel for opponents in small pots that prlly had a huge influence on the plays he made in tv hands

That being said He was obv lucky, i think he made a few mistakes but overall his play was strong...from what i saw on tv

Donkcada is the worst wsop main event champion along side with Gold and Yang.

Never seen such a suck out king.

Just because he sucked out a lot doesn't mean he is a bad player.

It seemed like Shulman was being too nitty so I quite like his 3bet shove. Also 4 bet shove bvb doesn't look too bad either if there was history. I was reading that there was a lot of 3 betting which people heard on the audio thing that wasn't shown on the broadcast.

Personally I like the guy and yes, he did get very lucky but saying he's as bad as Gold/Yang is absolute jokes, it seems like he is a decent player but he made some bad decisions/had bad timing.

I wouldn't say he was the luckiest or the worst but he did get extremely lucky a few times at the FT.

But if he was "building reads and getting a feel for his opponents in small pots", then surely the feel he was getting and the reads he was making were appalling, because when the big money went in he was crushed on almost every occasion.

I'm not doubting for a minute that he is a more skilled player than Yang and Gold, but those two both ran over their prospective FTs and didn't need the deck to save them.

I would say it's between Moneymaker and Yang.

Cada was by far the most nervous-looking/acting player at this FT. Rare that such a player wins. Suckouts help.

I like young people. That being said, I guarantee you that 90% of all those saying Cada is a deserving winner, are young.

He is the second-most clueless winner in main event history, the most clueless of course being Robert Varkoni. Gold and Moneymaker are poker genius next to this kid.

every winner always suck-out's a few times during the tournament. seems his all came at the final table.
but he was willing to risk his chips and won.
i was rooting for Moon to win.

Eastgate was better too. He played solid all the way. Probably explains why he made such a deep run again this year.

OP you are not being very nice. I just talked to Joe and he is very upset about this thread. He told me he is considering just donating most of the prize money and grinding 10/20 NL at the Bellagio from now on.

I told him fine if that is what you want to do then do it.... But PLEASE SEND ME 5 BUX ON FTP FIRST!

Dear God this, I should have known better than to venture into TV Poker. This thread reminds me why tournaments are so profitable.

Easily the worst WSOP in recent history. It looked like an all-in fest in a 2.00 dollar single table sit-n-go. Moving with hands that he is either significantly behind or at best a coin-flip. He played well up until the final table and then played like a moron. He was lucky that he ended up heads up with the other moron at the table, who also played and ran well until the final table.

Gold bullied with his chips and ran over the table in an impressive demonstration of the power of being the chip leader. Eastgate, while lucky, played his hands well, especially against Deminov. Yang.....no comment.
