I don't see where being rude is ever +EV here.

PS: Thanks for being a good ambassador of the game DN.
I don't want his money.

Also, please point out where I was being rude?

If you're calling blunt honesty as being rude, then lol at you and good luck surviving the work place.

The point is he didn't come here to blame all his losses on run bad and he has even said that his NL cash game game needs work. I'm not sure why you took the time to volunteer your analysis on random HSP hands that Daniel played but I am fairly certain that nobody cares.. no offense.

Daniel ignore that idiot borderline. Check his posting history he plays mainly $2 donkaments and 90% of his posts are in NVG.

Okay, I had some time the past couple of days and have compiled the complete tally of +/- All in EV for the critical 109 specific hands (all in and called before the river) in the first six seasons of High Stakes Poker.

In subsequent posts I will list all the details of these 109 hands based upon the Hand Histories posted in the HSP Database thread (thanks to all the posters in that thread). Here I will list the summary.

Note that Daniel Negreanu comes in at -260,706 which is different than the figure previously posted in this thread. The previous poster missed a few hands and miscalculated the EV's in a few other hands (and the pot size in at least one key hand).

hey just asked for the EV boys relax, so what we all play bad sometimes DN just did it on TV, because he thought he was a good cash game player because he was a good tourney player, but now he realizes there is a difference...

one thing i dont get he plays (played, i dunno now) small ball in tourneys, in cash games he makes the pots big and makes plays he would never make in a tournament, i never got that...i know there is a difference but it would have definitely limited his losses for sure

Pot $153,600
Doyle is 91.82/0.81/7.37 so his EV Pot = $141,658
Run it twice. Turn/rivers are Td/8c & 4c/2c (Doyle wins both halves)
+/- EV: Doyle +11,942; Negreanu -11,942
----------------------------------------

Episode 13 Hand 9

Dwan (As Ac) > Elky (Ad 6d)
All in on turn: 8s 6s 4c Qd
Pot $255,300
Dwan is 95.45/0/4.55 so his EV Pot = $243,684
River is 5c (Dwan wins)
+/- EV: Dwan +11,616; Elky -11,616

This one wrong:

Episode 3 Hand 11

Negreanu (9d 7d) chops (1/2) Dwan (Qs Qd)
All in on flop: Jd 9h 4s
Pot $212,200
Negreanu is 22.02/0/77.98 so his EV Pot = $46,726
Run it twice. Turn/rivers are 2h/Jc & Ac 9c (chop)
+/- EV: Negreanu +165,474; Dwan -165,474
Negreanu only got half the pot so he is something like +65K not +165.

I'm assuming the data isn't complete yet? Meltzer can't have 0, he did play an all in pot with Dwan in the most recent season, TT vs KQ went in on the flop.

I think the above list is complete. But let me know if I missed anything or made any other mistakes.

Ah, I think you are remembering a Poker After Dark hand. Here is the link:
