Hello!!!

UTG1 (stack = 10K) limps, action folds to sb ( stack = 23K) and he deciedes to complete. Hero`s on the big with the stack of 20k.He has 94.
Hero checks.

the pot: 2000
flop comes: 896

Hero decide to lead and raises to 653, UTG1 calls.Sb folds.

the pot: 3400
turn comes: 3.

Hero raises to 1k. UTG1 calls.

the pot: 5400
river comes : Q

Hero checks. UTG1 decides to raise to 2K. After thinking for a while hero
calls.

The reason why I took the lead on the flop is the I wasnt` really planning on check-calling cause we would be forced to fold on lots of turns & check-floding looks very weak.

2 on the turn puts another flush draw on the board and the board now is heavily drawing(2 flushes, straghtdraws(7, 10), gutshuts). so I want to bet both to extract value, cause I`m plannig to check to almost anycard on the river, and also for protection, not allowing the villian to check behind and get a free card.

I check on the turn cause there is nothing to get value from. Villian bets.
since from all the draws, only back door flush draw made it, and I dont think the Villian `d bet for value with 9.

What are your opinons on how the hand was played out??

Blinds are how much? Also your addition of the pot is a little off? "653" ... must be online.

I'm ok with the lead otf ... might be done with the hand ott. I just don't like fighting for small pots pop.

The turn is either a Jam or a check fold. I'd lean toward check fold. We have many better hands than top pair no kicker here. Dynamic boards strongly favor position. You don't have position. The only way to neutralize that is to play jam or fold on this turn.

What are the stakes and do you have any reads on your opponents? I'm assuming blinds are 300/600/50, so most of our opponents are relatively short (<40BB) Also 653 bet assume we're playing online?

I don't much like the bet sizing here. I think on a flop this coordinated we probably want to have a narrower betting range with a bigger sizing. When we bet this small, we allow all sorts of stuff to hang around and defeat the purpose of denying equity to overcards, gutshot straight draws, etc. (we know heart draws and 7x are almost never folding) If we do bet bigger, we may want to check some of our worst 9x (like 94) and lead stuff that has more equity, like 9sxs, 95, 97, T9.

The small turn bet is interesting. Feels very blocker-ish, I do think it's very exploitable in the sense that if opponents deduce it signifies a marginal made hand they can put a lot of pressure on it. So for the reason I'd prefer checking turn here, deciding whether to continue based on sizing. We're really not trying to get three streets of value. I don't see any value in betting big on this turn since we should have hands with better equity that we can double barrel here.

River feels close as played, JT gets there and villain can certainly have some Qx hands in his range, either Qhxh/Qx8x/Qx9x-type hands. I can see the argument to call as better 9x shouldn't value bet often but the bet is small and it may be designed to get the exact hands (bad 9x, 8x) to hero. And based on small flop sizing villain will have a fair number of flop floats with backdoor spades that got there. I instinctively think it's a fold because we should have better hands to call with, but I can be convinced otherwise.
