I don't do a ton of posting in here but I recently got access to monkersolver and I wanted to test it with a solve my computer should be able to handle. It is the start of a jackpot SNG with BB SB and BTN all having 25 BBs.
I ran a simulation where BTN opens min, SB folds and BB calls. The flop and turn come with BB checking to BTN each street (essentially 100% of the time) and BTN betting half pot until river (not 100% of the time but that is the line I had questions about) where he jams for a little under pot when checked to.
The board runs out Q54cc6Tc.
My question is why the BB chooses to fold the majority of top pairs (Q7 being an example I just noticed which has a straight blocker) while defending hands like 53 no clubs. Is the straight blocker that relevant? Why fold Q7 and call 53?
I also noticed on the river that BB chooses to shove all of his flushes as a donk bet and check the rest of his range, why is that? Why not check 100% of range? and why turn your hand faceup if you're going to shove all flushes and nothing else? Wouldn't you want flushes to protect your checking range?

Edit: after running the solver for a longer time, BB changed strategies and checked 100% of range on river. Once it converged to this strategy BB changed it's calling ranges and it makes much more sense than it did before. Lesson learned, let solvers finish doing their thing before making assumptions. I'll have to look up when a solvers strategy is considered accurate enough for discussion before posting more.
