ICM for all STTs 6max and 9max. However, at a full table ICM will have small effect when short-stacked, though it will still be slightly tighter than ChipEV.
You should only use Chip EV in MTTSNGs (until you get close to bubble, then deviate towards ICM).
Heads Up situations and Winner Take All satellites would also use ChipEV.
