2 questions

When in the push fold phase of the game, is pushing always optimal? if not can you give some examples where a different strategy is better and how it is better?

and...

If i've just shoved twice in a row or, like 3 times in the past 5 hands.... where players seem to get stubborn... should i be adjusting to their potential to get stubborn?.... It seems like i get called A LOT lighter sometimes after only 2 shoves, some guy with 10/9 stats just calls off 11bbs with KTo in a KK+ spot because i happened to pick up 3 jams in a row... Do i simply ignore the stubborn calls? It doesn't seem like i should, but i could be wrong.

isuckatp0ker,

It's difficult to answer such generic questions. There might be exceptions to general rules, but the best way to understand and identify them is by saving and posting hand histories and accompanying questions about the difficult spots you get into. I'd encourage you to pull out a bunch of spots you're not sure what to do with, record any reads/stats/info you have on opponents, then come here and post those hands. It'll provide more targeted examples and content with which to extrapolate and address your questions. Include the buy-in and brief description in the title (e.g. $11 party poker - call on bubble with KJo?") and then the HH and any additional info in the post. Locking this thread as there's no good way to answer the questions posed, but I'd encourage you to post new threads with the particular hand/spot descriptions for further discussion. Feel free to PM if you have any questions. GL!
