Push/Fold Heads up question Push/Fold Heads up question

Hi, Ive been using the following Jennifears push/fold charts:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...ue&gid=2#gid=0

I mainly play 6max turbo SNGs.

Once I get to heads up play, should I still be pushing the suggested range from the SB or are we adjusting our game at all due to fact we are now heads up?

Looks like the document is rather old and was created in 2009. However, I believe SNGs are a solved game and even if this chart is outdated, it can't be too terrible.

For the games I play, I feel people overfold and I don't mind pushing a wide range once we get down to 7bbs or lower. However, I would like to know what the best play is in a vacuum.

I have the Preflop+ app and I will have to compare and contrast with the spreadsheet. However, I don't anticipate a huge difference between the two. Unfortunately, I use the free version of the app and can only run 6max and 9max scenarios.

I mean if you believe the charts to be accurate Nash charts and your opponent to be following optimal Nash push/fold strategy then you can follow the charts.

Sounds like you have a good reason to believe that you can deviate from the charts for profitable reasons.

This chart is for MTT where sb is OOP instead of IP as in HU. Date of creation aside, its quite useless for HU play

if you want to play by chart you can use this one:
https://www.holdemresources.net/hune

its far from optimal HU play but better than what you posted

No chance. This game is part being mathematically correct and part adjusting to table texture. Even in the just the last 6 months I've noticed clear top level changes in how badregs are playing, which can be adjusted for to optimise ROI. The maths of SnG poker is fairly cut and dry, but they'll never be a "solved game" because of constantly changing dynamics.

How are you're secrets to the top level success more different than what's are ready poven to work as of the beginning levels of the tournament where it's not worth stealing blonds

Because the proof you talk about, probably looks far less like a proof to me than it does for you.

I think stealing blonds sounds pretty interesting.
