Other subforum for STT strategy talk? Other subforum for STT strategy talk?

The Single Table Tournament (STT) strategy subforum has some merit for novice players, so it's great it's here. With that been said, I find that a lot of the advice that's given is either self-evident when novice questions are answered, or very poor when the question is more complicated. Is there another subforum on TwoPlusTwo or another forum altogether where you can discuss STT strategy and post hands, where the quality of advice is better and from more experienced players?

Cheers lads.

No this is the only forum on 2p2 for STT.

Most regulars dont post more. So you have to do more work yourself to learn. Nothing comes for free anymore.

Ehhhhhh... there are 2 sides to this story.

While I wouldnt disagree with McKrogh, there is also this:

@OG: Can you link me to the interresting questions about complicated spots or generell Poker/ICM/Whatever Theory you asked?

Because I just checked your posts and threads and I couldnt find them.

Long story short, I would love to discuss poker in all its beauty. But there is very little to discuss these days. If you dont ask interresting questions or give the kind of answers you want to recive dont expect anyone else to be the better man.

Yeah I still play some, but only recreational. Mostly trying to hit that 2 Million spin.

You kind of have to take poker forums for what they are really - they have a very low signal to noise ratio and always have done, even in the good old days.

Not saying 2+2 isn't great - it's nice to participate in a community and get some discussion going, but for actual learning and upskilling I would never use this place. Books, videos & reliable 1:1 coaching should be your source for that.

I posted before on a banned account, so I definitely contributed. I just found it hard to get any solid advice on my own hands. You're probably right that I should do a lot more myself and built an understanding with someone where the respect for each others opinions go both ways.
