Hey guys,

I've been playing $3.50 50/50's for the last month and half trying to build a bankroll. Instead I've lost $60 over 130 tournaments. Honestly its' worse than that as my loses have come from the last 50 or something like that.

This can't be variance but I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. How do I find my leaks and plug them? I don't even know where to start. What have you guys found brought the biggest improvements to your game?

See my graph below.

hey dude... 1st of all , 130 sngs is a tiny sample...so try to put more volume if its possible..

Also it can be variance for sure...so dont stress too much about it and try to study and improve and also focus on making good decisions when you play...start by reading articles/watching videos online on your topic ! Also getting ICMIZER will improve your push/fold game...

(to make my point...i play 1.5k sngs per month ... i am winning player with 6% ROI on turbo 9max up to 3.5$ over 9k sngs...and there are times i am down/break even for about 500-600 sngs in a row)

Yes it can be, it can be even if you add another 0 to your samplesize.

One thing you can do is to buy a subscription to ICMizer or Holdem Resources Calculator and use the software to review your all-ins. Are you picking the right moments?

50/50s are very icm heavy. You may have to make a lot of plays that are not intuitive. I suggest icmizer and using the sngcoach function.

Awesome. Thanks for the reply guys. Definitely helps to know I'm not totally hopeless haha.

I'll definitely check out ICMIZER and that Sit N' Go coach.

Sorry to butt in but I have also been focusing a lot on turbo 9 maxes lately and was wondering if you could help with a couple of questions.

1. How many tables do you play at a time/length of sessions/hours per month (average) to reach 1.5k per month I'm wayyy off that kind of volume and really want to up it.

2. What do you think is the realistic best possible ROI at the micro stakes multi-tabling these turbos?

Any insights would be extremely helpful!

Hey buddy ,

1) i play 12-14 tables at once, 3x 2hour sessions/day , so about 170-180hours/month...

2)Just check the leaderboards at sharckscope , i think the average regs have about 7-8% and the best best regs somewhere 12-13% i think...

Hey Blue,

I play the same 50/50 like you.

I think the key is your push/fold decisions (like the other people said) and blind steals if the blinds are high and only 7 or 6 players left.
The game is slowing down so much at this point. Typical bubble play.
Use the HUD and steal a lot of the 10/8, 8/7 players next to you.

Also be very tight with your shove calling range against most of the players.

At the end there are a lot of 54/30 or 45/2 players at the table.
Sit down and wait for the right spots.

Greetings,
Christian

P.S. My graph. But also tiny sample size.
