If you mean 2-round heads-up shootouts, then the HUSNG and Spin & Go forum is the place for such questions. The strategy is obviously identical to the HU strategy then, for both rounds.

If you mean 4-handed tables, could you please tell which poker site they're offered at (besides 888poker Blast and 30% of PokerStars Spin & Go Max tourneys)? I'm out of date when it comes to US-facing sites, haven't played there for a while. Also, I have no access to Virgin Games (a small UK site) and hence can't play their Wild Seat Poker.

Anyway, as an aspiring Spin Max reg, I've been trying hard to find strategy tips specific to the 4-handed phase, but no one appears to coach on that because 3-handed SNGs are much more popular, and ample strategic material has been available for 3-handed play for over 3 years (start by browsing the said Spin & Go forum).

You can learn a bit about 4-handed play by looking for hands featuring the play in the cutoff after everyone to the right has folded, and the play vs the CO, in videos about the middle stage of MTTs (preferably 6-max MTTs), where there are too few ICM effects to matter, and the strategy is thus close to the winner-take-all case.

However, I think that it's more profitable to learn 2-3-handed strategy first anyway because it's been studied better and because 4-handed play occurs when the blinds are still small and transitions quickly enough into 3-handed.

You can also learn shortstack (<20 bb) 4-handed strategy by simply working with any SNG calculator like HoldemResources or ICMizer.

A bit of info about shortstack 4-handed play at a soft table can be extracted from Youtube videos about Virgin Wild Seat Poker, though I'm not sure how good the authors are at SNGs.
