I'm currently a $24-36 grinder who want's to improve a lot in 2009.

I'm looking to start a studdy group with regular meetings (anywhere from once a week to once a month) of about 3-4 players who have the same intrests as me. We will discuss hands, sweat eachother and talk about general ideas about the game.

Three criterias has to be met for you to be able to be in the group:
* You have to play 9-max $16 or higher
* You have to be motivated to play a lot (~1 k games/month)
* You have to have to want to improve and to help others improve as well

If you are a mid stakes player who wants to improve a lot this year, PM me and get this group going!

I play $5 to $30 on Stars (mainly) and Full Tilt (just to clear a bonus and see how I like it).

Right now I am in school so not looking for anything too serious, but I will definitely give thought to a tight knit rigorous schedule.

AIM: SumnerNichols

Edit: Just wanted to add in that I 20 table usually and although my volume fluctuates, I am going for at least gold star (optimistically platinum star and supernova by the end of the year).

Hey grinders,

I am new to the STT forum here at 2+2, and see it as a +EV tool for getting better at the game of poker. I recently quit my job to play poker full time. For the time being, my focus will be on grinding small stakes sit n goes, playing 18-22 at a time. I am currently playing the $6.50's on stars (just getting back into the flow of things) after running through the $3.40 10 mans in a couple of days. In the next month or so I will be looking to move into the $16 turbos on stars. It is at times tough for me to stay enthusiastic about the grind that multitabling sit n goes is, whether it is studying my play, reading, or playing for that matter..it is not always easy to stay persistant.

I am looking for a partner or two who have the same goals/mind set as I do, and who are looking to get better, and find a partner in crime to go through the grind with. I have fairly solid stats on sharkscope (nothing spectacular) and am looking for someone who both is on the same level as I, and is as dedicated to this as I am. Over the next few months, I will be playing/studying nothing but sit n goes for roughly 5-8 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. If you are interested in talking or discussing the possibilities, please contact me VIA PM, Email (calmdownsir@hotmail.com), or AIM (Bulldawg1qb1). Below are my sharkscope stats:

Jvilchez13 2,124 $1 $9 13% $2,733 - PokerStars x

I have been a long time lurker on 2p2 and am willing to do some study sessions. My main game is micro stakes sng's on FT. My AIM is surfinluke50 if you would like to do this. My ps username is moneybags180 also. I was a decent winner over on ps but decided to move to Ft for rakeback.

You play between $5 and $200? How does that work? One day you decide you want to keep it small and do 5's, then the next day you want to go big and do 200's?

Just opened a new aim account: draythedj

I've always wanted to find friends to discuss with.
