I've recently started playing the super turbo 6 mans on Tilt. I'm looking for someone to discuss strat with. I have about 1k 7.5s played with 3% ROI and 1200 3.8s played at around 10%. I have both skype and aim. Anyone that has some experience in these and wants to talk strat, pm me and we can get something set up.

Was wondering if there was any interest in a super turbo STT group (6-9max, woteva) that could chat on AIM about HH's and ICM. I'm starting to play them soon (coming from 18man turbos on stars mostly so I know a decent understanding of ICM) so anyone with experience please feel free to post here or throw me a PM and I can send my aim/skype and see if we can get a group of people together.

Please, no trolling or flaming. Thanks.

Hi,
Was just talking to a friend today & decided I'd spend some more time on this forum, went to the STT section, saw this thread & it's actually something I've been trying to put together now for a long, long time (have done it a bit before but other group members actually lost their addiction to online poker?.. what is up with that??).
I play mostly small-field (20-75) priv. MTT's online & am predominantly an MTT player but have played ~1,000 sng's across a few different sites.
When I'm playing them, I'll usually be playing the $10's on Fulltilt (STT) or the $6's on Pokerstars.
Would be interested in hooking up w others possibly via 'Skype'. pm me if you think you'd be interested. My history > I haven't really put in any volume at all in them (imo), playing a few tables recreationally on occassion. I have read just about every single article I could find & have read Moshmann's book numerous times. Also have a pretty decent SNG training vid. collection, push/fold charts, etc. (so in other words... I'm not a complete dumb dumb, but don't play a whole lot either).

New to the forums and I came here pretty much for this reason.. to study (and procrastinate studying the heart and lungs like I should be doing). Anyway I've been hooked to the glorious world of SNG's for the last 6 months or so and I really want to progress my game.

I'm playing standard $5.50's full ring on ft, ROI is pretty mediocre.. around 5% including two tilt fests where I went wayyy outside my bankroll and lost about a third of it each time. So gross. Anyways I'm no poker genius but I'm putting in a lot of time these days and actively trying to learn the game. It'd be cool to have people to bounce ideas off of.

So if your down at the lower stakes and have room for improvement then pm me and we'll get the ball rolling.

-Roy

Looking to set up a STT study group for low buy in players. I'd like to get 4-7 players who will work together and review each others hand histories. I want this to be an online group that works through email and pm. You can find us in the coaching section under the official I want to form a study group thread. 3 players have already joined.

I will be the organizer. I am not a super expert. I would just like to be a regular member. I will send emails and try to make sure that the group functions. My plan is to have a rotating pairing so that we each have an opportunity to work with every member. Each week we will all have to review on entire STT for another member. So you will have a whole week to do the review and you only need to comment on the interesting hands. Then email your comments. No appointments to keep. Do it in your own time. The next week we will all be rotated to another member. My plan is to leave it up to members if they share their online name. The policy will be that this is kept private.
Players must have a minimum of 100 STT games played , have a basic understanding of odds, and must have read at least 1 poker book. I know this is not asking much but you have to start somewhere.
My hope is that we get a good response and we can set up 2 groups so that more advanced players feel challenged.

Please dont post a response here PM me instead. Ill repost this every other day for a few weeks to see if it gets any traction. This will be the only time I post here.

Hey guys, I'm in. I've been mainly a lurker around here, but I've become more active recently. You can PM me if you're interested.

I play 9 man $20-$30 non-turbos and $22-$33 turbos on FT, to the tune of about 200 per week. I also play some 6 mans. I've been playing sngs for 5+ years but only got serious in the last 2 years or so. I have a pretty solid ROI -- around 10% -- after about 3k games. Sustainable? Hopefully.

I've received coaching from Colin Moshman, Glitlr, and a couple others. I'd like to join a study group, or find a "study buddy" (does sound pretty silly) to exchange hhs with. I'd prefer with a good +ROI so you have something to offer me as well -- this isn't a free coaching offer Let's crush

Anyone in the Netherlands (Amsterdam or close by preferably) who is looking for STT buddy? Would for now rather prefer to play occasional sessions together than using messengers and web tools. Currently playing about 50 to 60 STT's a day mostly on the $22 and $33 levels. Positive ROI players who use an ICM calculator and have put some study into STT strategy only please

Currently playing 9man SnG's 1.20$ at FTP.
Looking for someone to discuss strategy, find each other leaks, etc.
Probably no one plays 1.20's with such a big rake but games don't get that much different few levels above so Im waiting for people from a bit higher limits too.

PM or skype: walls2sq
