decide to check flop as have the Ad so block a lot of flush drawers AXd and he raised my sb limp so he is technically the preflop raiser. What about ahalf pot donk here? i would have check reraized flop without the Ad should i anyway?. horrible turn but i have redraw equity and still some SDV. given action and board i guess river is a fold but i think i may of underrepped my hand how i played it putting me in a tighter spot. he could of semi bluffed turn and whiffed river?

The relevance of your blocker is one of those cherry on top factors. Top pros use it because once all the macro aspects of the hand are looked at then blockers can be what tips the decision one way or the other, but to have it as your shining beacon from the get go creates a situation where you miss the forest for the trees. This is a concept I plan on creating a youtube video for soon.

I don't think there's much need to donk the flop as it simply causes him to fold out a lot of trash that would have c-bet. You're so far ahead the vast majority of his range it's not as if you need to protect some vulnerability.

Check raising flop is good, check calling can be fine too if he has barrel bluffing tendencies. Since we are 43bb deep eff check raising would be my go to normally.

The turn is not actually that bad. He probably doesn't open raise all his combos of 64, 96, and suited trash. Your blocker now become much more relevant as he has far fewer combos of made flushes. Relative to his entire range there aren't that many flushes here anyways, so you don't need to start ****ting your pants and definitely don't consider folding the river.

He can potentially have a number of obvious bluffs, and he could also be reaching down deep into his value range to attempt to get value from 8x and 7x. There's just such a small portion of his range overall that you're losing to that realistically plays this way I think folding is terrible.

Seems well played to me. Donking is just bad when he should be expected to c-bet his flop a lot. We should be x/r the flop with some 5x, but this is a good candidate to slowplay since we retain solid equity on diamond turns. This hand is too strong to do anything but calldown turn+river. Not quite strong enough to value raise and far too strong to bluff/fold.

I'm amazed that it's heads up in a 9 man game at this stack depth in a Party sng, how did so many players bust by level 3?! Maybe I need to get back over there...

Not representative. My KK held vs 3 opponents with 2(AX) and mid pair. Hence my stack size
