How to go from 7% to 14% in $1 SNG's???

There is this player on Pokerstars, simba300 and he got and ROI of 14% on those $1 KO's. I play him regularly, we played 6k hand against each other and I still can't see the big difference. My ROI is 7% and I want to get where he is at so bad.
I have HEM, analyze his hands, but he doesn't do much differently than I did.
Those 5-7% differences in ROI are the difference between amateur and pro player for me. If I could have 12% ROI over a 10.000 sample, I could go pro (living in a poor country where $1.000/month is worth a lot!)

Do u study ICM? I dont see you mention it so that could be the difference.

If you both make the FT at the same %, for example, but he wins over 30% of the time he makes FT when you only win ~15%, that can be the difference. Maybe you have a leak w/ specific hands. So you make a 1000 in de 1 $ If you play the 3 $ its more easy....If you play a 100 games how many times do you win now ? And what is good to turn pro ? I realy like to now i stay in thailand and play 10 hours a day now and like to go pro to but its verry hard at the 1 $ to make alot thats why i wanne play the 3 $ and then turn pro but not Sure If i can move up stake now.
I am winning at the 1 $ but how much you make a day ?

It's kind of funny, you don't know what you don't know. You may think you are doing the same thing as this player, but you don't have all their non showdown hands and you aren't in their brain. Since it's $1 games, this 14% roi player also has piles of leaks himself.

You're halfway there the way you're searching. You need a mild attitude shift in accepting that at the moment you're a 7% player but keep hunting and you will find the answers you're looking for.
