This spot though we make a big hand but play it very passive because we are trying to make the money and don't want to get shoved on.

Is this too passive or should we go for some value?

A big mistake players make is playing too tight trying to get in the money. In stead, you should be exploiting this and stealing a lot around the bubble. Sure, sometimes you will bust, but its better to reach top 5 once than being barely in the money 20 times (depends on the size of the tourney of course).

That being said, your hand is huge. The check on the flop is fine imo. I would personally bet the turn for value and to protect your hand. After checking twice, definitely value bet your hand on the river. You only lose to a 3 or TT+
