Would you guys consider this a cooler? Also in this hand I thought my sixes full was the best hand because I thought there's no way he has a jack (unless its king jack which it was), because a regular jack would've played it differently (such as betting the flop, and even if they check the flop I'd expect them to check raise the turn 100 percent of the time)
Is my thought process correct? Is this a cooler?
Thanks in advance =]
youre assumptions on how the micro stake population plays Jx Kx etc has to be flexible...you shouldnt COMPLETELY rule out parts of his range
he's not check raising you...he's just raising you...you have to be oop in order to check raise(first you check , then you raise), ip you just raise
...and he shouldnt be raising you on turn with Jx that often(id prefer just calling)
so taking Jx out of his range is incorrect
he should def NOT be betting flop with Kx every time...
actually, checking > betting with Kx there on flop...so it should def NOT be taken out of his river range
...while Jx has a higher ev with betting flop you still cant just completely rule it out, people do slow play sometimes you know
hypothetically, if youre assumptions on their Kx and Jx combos was somehow correct, then betting turn for a small sizing is good (190ish)...
...because if you have the best hand, then you should deny them their combined equity (theres a shortage on the number of good river cards)...when you get them to fold their over cards that's a big win for you
...but like i said, those are some big assumptions
and not to mention the pp's in their ranges (77+ combos) witch are probably not folding turn
also, most importantly when you put in money on the turn and get called, you're equity is garbage...like really, what do you beat that calls you?
...you chop sometimes(if he doesnt have A6)...flip vs his draws(i say flip because he can also bluff river), but the rest of the times youre dead or have 2 outs
river is a bet/fold imo,
for you to call river you need to know he is raising his flushes and his 6x
...and what are his bluffs? ...10Q type hands are good i guess but is a random realy doing this at micros, probably not
