if you dont know what to do when someone raises, you shoulnt bet.

Obv very player dependant. Is villain capable of raising J high flushes. Probably not. Unless he is a complete maniac.

The pot-odds tell you what to do: call. I would have played x/c at the river because it s... to get x/r and for pot control. We have a strong hand here but could be far away from the nuts, we donīt wanna play for stacks or a big pot here. This hand is too strong to fold, the pot-oods are just too good.

Flop might be a bet, seems close.

Yes, this is a difficult spot on the river, that isn’t a reason not to bet. The majority of the time when you bet, you get called by a worse flush, and villain has a lot of worse flushes here, occasionally you even get called by an ace. If you check, almost all those hands checkback and everything better bets. Not a very profitable situation to put yourself in.

The pot odds after villains river raise are not telling you to call, they are telling you what % of the time you need to be correct with your river call. What hands does villain raise for value given all the action: definitely Kd, A3, 66, and maybe 99 that he doesn’t 3bet pre. Maybe, maybe, he raises Jd and 10d, this would be pretty terrible though. What hands does he minraise bluff, I can’t come up with any. It’s close, folding might be correct here.

I like the river bet. Unfortunately, unless there is strong evidence the villain is a maniac (or very good bluffer) or just a total novice, you should fold since the combos of full houses and Kd outnumber the one or to combos of hands villain could overplay or total air. Odds are 5:1 (i think) but villain has A3 suited, 33, 99, 66 with a d, Kx with the Kd, all of these combos are in range versus the few Jd combos he might overplay and air.

Thatīs why I wouldnīt bet river. We get 5:1 so we have to hold only in 16.667 % of the cases the best hand to be break-even and itīs still possible that Villain holds a worse flush (not likely but...?). I donīt think he holds hot air, offering us good pot-odds. I call this "with belly ache". But anyways, here I would keep the pot small and hope for a cheap showdown where we hold hopefully the best hand or keep our loss as small as possible. No need to enlarge the pot.
