I'd love to have your opinion on this hand, because I really don't know what to think of it. Well, i think that I should bet the flop here, so I don't trap myself trying to trap two opponents with smaller stacks. I haven't realized on the turn that BB Effective stack after he calls on the flop is really small if I happen to lose against the BTN, I just see the opportunity to knock out two opponents here. I'm not sure I'd bet the turn if we are 5 or 6 handed, but hey, that could be a mistake too.
Anyway lots of thoughts there, involving concepts that I probalby should be more familiar with, so any advice is welcome.
Preflop: Hero is CO with 9 Q
Hero raises to 375, BTN calls 375, SB folds, BB calls 225
Flop: (1,200) K 3 Q (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, BTN bets 1,515 and is all-in, BB calls 1,515, Hero calls 1,515
Turn: (5,745) 7 (3 players, 1 is all-in)
BB checks, Hero bets 2,905 and is all-in, BB folds
River: (5,745) A (2 players, 2 are all-in)
Spoiler:
Results: 5,745 pot
Final Board: K 3 Q 7 A
Hero showed 9 Q and lost (-1,890 net)
BTN showed 8 A and won 5,745 (3,855 net)
BB mucked and lost (-1,890 net)

You probably played it perfectly since you got the button to pot bet all-in with a bluff you wouldn't have gotten value from otherwise. Obviously, you don't play this hand to ever fold this flop, yet you're rarely getting a fold from a K-x, so checking isn't bad at all. Since you're the big stack, you're happy to play this hand like it's a cash game, a.k.a. induce bluffs or play a big pot as a 51% favourite. Very read-dependent hand, but well-played IMO.
I would consider folding pre. If I'm shortstack on button, sb, or bb I have a pretty big 3 bet jam range because of bubble psychology leveling. Since you can't call a jam, you might as well fold into the money. On the other hand, if the short stacks have also have a "fold into the money" mindset then its good to raise pre-flop. So read dependent?
I like the check call on the flop. Their betting range is bigger than their calling range, and we want to keep their range wide for the all in.
Hope this all makes sense, feels a bit rambling...
