But this is his 2nd all in for last 3 hands. Seems like a standard maniac. Should I still fold? What hand should I have for call then? QQ+?
I would fold JJ if that was his first all in of course.
Is he really shoving c. 5-6x pot with AA? KK? QQ? I think it's unlikely - his range feels really capped, and instead overcard hands like AK are the biggest problem (for you) in his range. Against those hands you're still flipping so hardly in terrible shape. I reckon his range would include some dumb overplayed smaller pairs more often than jammed big pairs, and you're in great shape when he shows up with 88 etc.
I'm not too worried about the players behind either, can't expect much strength from those guys either as they only flatted first time around - so their money is as good as dead, and if any are dumb enough to call with just one overcard or an underpair then fine by me
I echo the comments on not being pumped to get 77bb in here - but this isnt the normal sort of situation in which you'd be doing that - it'd normally be the result of 4 or 5 betting - not a massive overshove like this. So I'm happier about it than normal
