Quick question for you all, used to play a lot of MTTs back in the good old days, recently have been playing some $3-$5 turbo/hyperturbo sngs and looking for some basic strategy. My natural inclination when seeing my short stack is to jam preflop almost every hand, but surely this isn’t ideal given essentially everyone is always short stacked. Any recs for brief strategy guides to read?

"jam preflop almost every hand"

You mean

"jam almost every hand you play" rather than raising or limping?
or
"jam almost every hand you get dealt" rather than ever folding?

With regard to the hyper turbo games, with the stacks so short they are pretty much a push fold game, especially as the blinds increase. You need to play tighter early on, shoving only premium hands and avoiding coin flips. As the game progresses you need to increase aggression, in particular around the bubble. That's the very basics in a nutshell shell. On a side note the 6 max hyper KO games are an even simpler game. They seem quite soft as they attract a lot of recreational players. GL

What buy in are you playing? How many games you playing per day? Would like to get a conversation going with some one playing these regularly. There doesn't seem to be much literature about this game.
