following hand was played in an 18 man on stars with 8 players left. 4 will get paid.
In this spot I choose to jam because of ICM implications, we have to fold to 3b jam. Does this mean we should jam our entire range in this spot, or can we open (2x) a very polarized range and jam our linear mid-strength range included A4s?
And if this would be a pure Cev spot, would this always be a 2-2.5x open instead of a jam?
This a raise and fold to a shove spot to me. Why do you think you should open shove with this stack size? I don't see why ICM implications or folding to a 3bet mean you have to shove. As a very general rule I'm in push/fold from bout 10bb or less on.
How do the 3 players left to act play? Are they regs? Fish?
What ranges do you expect to get called by when you openshove?
What ranges do you expect them to reshove if you minraise?
What % are you expecting the BB to fold to a minraise?
How do you think they will react if you limp?
What effect will ICM have on all of the above?
