It uses a tricky model, but it works instantly. FGS support is planned for near future too (currently KOs do not allow FGS on).
Any additional information on the model? I might be looking to change from HRC to icmizer if I think the bounty approach is reasonable

edit; Found a blog post on the site, will take a look at that.

Thanks for adding the KOs. Definitely looking forward to FGS but that seems quite difficult to implement. Great tool for studying with so far.

regarding the 7.7%, shouldn't this be weighted according to how often we actually win at SD? so for example we expect to win 40% against a villain's assumed shoving range, so we take a negative (0.4 x 7.7%) edge, so a negative 3.08% edge in the prize pool? Am I missing some reason we don't need to weight it according to how often we win at SD? As far as I can see, we can only capture that bounty the times we win, so we should multiply by our frequency of winning the pot as shown.

Re: 6Max KO Hypers

I feel like a young Mike Tyson when I'm playing these games.

One thing I sort of thought would be a cool idea from Stars and if they actually wanted to add nice promo would be; how about a bonus reward for KO'ing every other player in the SnG. Let it come out of their pocket of course but I think it would be a really cool promo and drive alot of crazy action in these games.

Right now I've coined the phrase "clean sweep" for when I run this in one of these tourneys. Ya, I know that phrase already exists but these "clean sweeps" do happen relatively infrequently and wouldn't it be great if you got some sort of extra bonus for this accomplishment?

Re: 6Max KO Hypers

It's very easy to calculate icm in 6max ko hypers. The problem is that if ICM Izer 2 KO developers didn't show how they can calculate it, I cannot trust in ICM Izer for review and keep on calculating spots by myself... Also, even if FGS are too big calculation, it's impossible to play theese games with non considering what should happen in next hands and playing statically (so I suggest to try the quiz of SNG coach to have a vague idea on what are push/call ranges)

In my (not good?) opinion obv

Re: 6Max KO Hypers

Fwiw, we recently added KO calculations to the HoldemResources beta as well - including support for bounties in FGS calculations. If there is interest I can do a short write-up of the bounty model later.

Edit: I just checked against the Icmizer 2 numbers from here and we actually seem to use the same model. (Not all that surprising because it's the most straightforward extension to ICM imo.)

Re: 6Max KO Hypers

Any idea if HM2 or PT4 calculates EV correctly for those?

I wouldn't bother looking at EV in these games. A lot of situations in KOs require making calls that are -ICMEV or -ChipEV but are +EV calls because of the bounties.

Ok then another question. Does HM2 or PT4 even track results correctly?

My HM2 doesn't seem to be able to track differences between 1st and 2nd place, treating 2nd place as 1st place but the winnings look correct.
