Hand 1 is a fold. U basically have max 70% equity against ATC so folding is ICM better.

Hand 2 raise bigger pre like 3/4bb which makes it harder for the BB to come over the top with weaker hands that we have to fold to.

Hand 1: Simple ICM calculation - http://www.holdemresources.net/nashi...bb=120&ante=15. So it's pretty close but I think with FGS you can call.

Hand 2 - Not super sure. Is this a turbo/hyper? I think open shoving 20bb+ with 88 is fine but if you think the BB is a nit and would only shove QQ+,AK or something raise/folding is ok.

As a disclaimer I've only recently started playing 9man turbos on Stars so take my thoughts with a pinch of salt.

How can i balance my raise on Button if i raise 3/4 x bb, i also should have JT, QJ in my raising range from a button, i can't raise only with good cards after that opponent will jam only above my range.
With range what i am willing to raise 3/4 x bb, i should have enough range to have also hands what i can ready to take flop, and with 66+ i am not willing to take any flop

First hand I think it is very close, but can be a call against what range people actually shove here. However if the players are bad plus especially if it is a normal speed stt, you can easily justify folding.

Second hand is interesting i think. If both players are good, i think having a narrow shoving range witch contains 88 is good.
Also this is a spot, where your raises have less fold equity than normal, because the BB can defend a wider range vs you (by shove/3b/call) because of ICM. This is why imo you should be thinking about limping a lot of hands. Making any kind of raise (esp big) with a somewhat wide range makes it very easy for the BB to just start shoving on you.

However, again if your opponents are rather bad, you can simply raise-fold, or limp-fold a lot of hands and call only a few, because simply they won't exploit you for playing more hands than ICM would allow you to. You shouldnt really be openshoving in this case because other options have higher EV.
