PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.1 Tournament, 200/400 Blinds 40 Ante (9 handed) - Converted at http://handhistoryconverter.com

UTG+1 (t5,940)
MP1 (t13,440)
MP2 (t14,560)
MP3 (t1,200)
CO (t1,800)
Button (t5,040)
SB (t11,880)
Hero (BB) (t2,760)
UTG (t6,260)

Hero's M: 2.88

Preflop: Hero is BB with 3, 3
3 folds, MP2 calls t400, 2 folds, Button calls t400, 1 fold, Hero ?

Would you guys push here? I have 6bb right now and the pot is already 4.5bb big. I don't want to play against two players with this hand. But if one of them folds, I have a profitable push against a standard limp/calling range.
Or would you rather fold and wait for a better spot?

Yes, it's best without very special reads (like: first limper only limptraps).

That is not a valid argument for decision making.
Yes, you can include future benefits in the current decision, they won't be big enough to justify folding huge +ev spots tho (unless we speak about bubble with fish). This is more likely a procedure based on "I'm not exactly sure what to do, better fold" then a valid thought process for players who use that exact sentense.

On what range would you put the limpers? I would say, their ranges are capped because with a decent hand they would raise, so we could think about a bunch of speculative hands. I would guess our equity against Villains range(es) is about 50 %, we will probably flip, and thatīs enough equity with that short stack.

Openlimping ranges readless are supposed to be weak. It's guesswork, good starting point is probably sth like top 10/15-30/40% (i.e. Excluding top 10-15%).

Yeah! Anyway, I have seen people in the micros limping with AA, KK, QQ, AKs, so with premium hands just because they donīt know what to do, some are just loose-passive and limp every hand but thatīs rare. Normally I totally agree: mostly you look into a suited ace A2s-A8s, suited broadways or connectors, suited broadways, offsuit broadways, some low or middle pps or even offsuit connectors.

Don't fold, just check and see a flop. For shoving to be profitable you need them to fold hands like Q-J which probably are going to call you. I'd shove A-9o+, A-7s+, A-2s+, K-Qs, and 6-6+. With 3-3 just hope for a set or for it to be checked all the way to the river.

What we'd prefer against QJ.....

1) He folds it.
2) He calls an all-in.
3) We play post-flop against it with an underpair where he knows whether or not he hit.
