Hey all, long time no post - this isn't a brain-buster, but more of a sanity check on a spot I found myself in last night during the $109 Sunday Wrap-Up on Stars.

Had been chip leader most of the way in after bubble burst (500+ entries, 89 cashed). By the time we get to our spot here, we're down to 4 tables and I'm in 4th w/ 73 BBs (CL is at a shade over 300k). Top end pays out $9k; 7th and better are four figure payouts. Image is solid, haven't been caught out of line in last 90 mins+.

Just wanted to confirm, is that a snap jam, or is there any justification for doing anything differently? I'm not trying to be intentionally obtuse here; just wanted to make sure I'm not missing something.

Were your 25K posts in NVG, BBV, etc.?

Conceptually, I'm having a hard time lately w/ AK. Applying initial preflop pressure isn't the issue I'm struggling with...it's the understanding that my best possible outcome in re-raise battles w/ other major stacks is dominating an overplayed ace, otherwise you're flipping for tournament lives.

Maybe I'm just being too results-oriented and nitty recently, but if anyone has suggestions on thoughtful pieces about how to approach AK - particularly late in tournaments - would appreciate a link.

It is actually a pretty close spot against a 17xBB UTG push with big stacks to act, but I would shove with AK/JJ+. I posted a somewhat similar hand with ICM type issues. Here UTG's range should be strong but capped. It is a little weird because I don't think I would open shove any hand for 17xBB UTG.
