Just started playing turbo double ups, so totally new and probably unfamiliar with some basic concepts. Couple spots had me scratching my head:

Hand 1:
5/6 players remain. Blinds 75/150

UTG folds
Cutoff has 2235 and min raises to 300

Button(me): Me 1285
SB: 2055
BB:1525
Cutoff: 2235

Was folding here a mistake? What should my push/fold ranges be?

Hands 2/3:
I'm totally lost when it comes to calling to break the bubble....
4/6 left. Blinds 150/300

I have around 3400 on the button with A9o. Cutoff shoves for 950. Previous hand he shoved 73o (and chopped). SB and BB both have around 2100 after the blinds. Should I call here? What else should I be calling or shoving with?

Thanks for any replies. As I'm new, are there any foundational type threads about double up sitngos?

I would love to hear some insight on this concept by some more experienced/educated SNG players.

I would say your range on the button after a shove should be AJo+ or A10s+. Shoving should be a lot wider. A LOT WIDER.

After doing some research, I would probably make the call with A9o against a short stack. Especially with the stack depth. But don't mind the fold as you would like to keep the short stack alive as long as possible. Look to open your pre flop raising range against the middle stacks to take advantage of them.
