I've just started a new YouTube series where I take my love of learning and try learn a new skill every month.

The first month I've tried to learn Violin. I would LOVE your feedback if you like this idea and would be interested in watching.

Your camera has some serious focusing issues.
It kept going in and out of focus in almost every single shot.

I'm kinda interested in messing around and trying to learn how to play the violin, but I read it's hard as ****, like way harder than a guitar. Did you make any progress after a month even with lessons?

Wouldn't this be a great time to give some ideas on how to fix that? I know this is a learning show and he can learn it himself, but...

Getting those auto-focus cameras is a total PITA, including the expensive ones. It is a very difficult, if not impossible, to find good resources on this stuff, which is why YouTube is mainly bad video quality.

not bad! i watched the first 15 seconds then skipped to see how you progressed at the day 29 mark.

i was impressed that you had a camera person and a fancy intro.

but i am now bored and will never be checking for any of your future videos.

good stuff - seemed like pretty good progression on violin for 1 month, but I don't know the baseline learning rate - did you take lessons or just self taught?
