Well I dodged it for 2 years but covid finally got me. Tested positive today. Only mild symptoms, but the idea of being stuck in my bedroom for the next week is kinda deflating.

But I have to say the timing is damn near perfect... I've been on vacation the past week+, scheduled to return to work tomorrow, and then have another 2.5 week vacation starting August 4th.
My job requires 10 days off for any confirmed covid case, and the 10th day would be August 3rd.

his gig was for an UES prep that was swimming in money, so he was definitely making 6 figures, but he was always worried that they'd close the soccer program to expand lacrosse or hire someone who had Ronaldo's autograph or something in his place

I was at all 3 games of the series, sitting down by the Nats on deck circle. I assume we were in the same area? The seats I was in are usually reserved for family of the visiting team but since they were empty, my usher friend let us sit there. I guess the Soto's had decided to sit elsewhere. Any yeah, that place was crazy busy Saturday. I think I saw close to 41k Saturday and only 12k or so Sunday.

Soto's had like ten people, so maybe it was too many for the reserved seats? They were in two rows on Fri., one on Sat., and two rows but split across the aisle on Sun.
