I mean if you had cereal box joke diploma or whatever you'd just hang it right side up over a mantle, somewhere someone would actually hang a real diploma. The joke is that you're taking the phony diploma seriously. Conversely, the humor in the actual situation comes from a prestigious diploma being hung in a disrespectful place/manner. the first problem is that the argument is really really silly. its about how appropriate a question asked by me when i was likely drunk 3 years ago was.
