well if someone posted about living in england and it was a hamshire and locksford diploma, the normal assumption would be that diploma=some type of school.

then instead of posting

-what is it?

-no seriously what is it?

I might just go to google and type it in.

its not about not knowing these facts, its about being too lazy to spend 10 seconds googling it

Since he mentioned the diploma part along with the William and Mary part I would think that context might help you figure it out.

last post on the subject because its tangental to a thread that has potential.... but you have got to be joking if you think that anyone would ever think 'william and mary' could be a school or a college. that name is just ridic.

I'm sorry I assumed that "most" people knew of the second oldest college in the U.S.

Most American's anyway as I'm not convinced the rest of you are 4 realz.

'

I'm going to guess that maybe 10% of the west coast has heard of that school. But we're pretty smart so at least 20% of us would figure it out with the word diploma next to "william and mary".

I’m completely with you here, this has to be the weakest thing ever to proclaim anyone stupid over.

"William and Mary" sounds so dumb I just couldn't consider a college actually called that.

So, according to you people, If I were to hear someone mention an "Oxford DIPLOMA" I would NOT be a complete moron to think they were in some way talking about these
As has been mentioned before, the key is in the deductive reasoning that should be used when seeing the word "diploma". While I doubt he's still around, or cares any more, I have to wonder, given the presence of "diploma", what on earth could Bulletproof have thought was being talked about, if not a school?

really. you doubt a guy that has like 35k posts and has been in like 3 arguments on oot in the past week is still around?

and yeah im still shocked anyone could be dumb enough to name a college 'william and mary'. your analogy is insanely ridiculous because the name 'william and mary' is so non-collegeish that you would have to be incredibly dumb to have it in your mind that that could be a legitimate college diploma.

oxford not so much because it sounds like it could be a college. and obviously because ive heard of oxford, particularly given i was born there.

if i said to you i had on my wall at home a 'Broski gonna bro! diploma' would you seriously think that was an actual college diploma?

you are still a ****ing idiot
