Is so true. I was surprised how big the difference is between what people say and paystubs.
I learned with time to be more open with my money and also less hesitant to ask people about their money. I believe that only employers lose if we all start to be more open about our salaries.
With networth..... I never came into situation, where it would be interesting for me how much is others networth.
However I do ask a lot about money management, frugality, investing. I also share pretty freely what I am doing. I mean since I am on the conservative side with such things everyone understands what my results are and what they can expect by following similar strat.
I believe that it was kind of like it was mentioned somewhere here. Somehow in the brain money is strongly connected with judgment. No one likes to be judged and so no one goes into this territory.
