Chip,

I like to keep it basic - classic milk tea with tapioca pearls. Sometimes go wild with some condensed milk or brown sugar.

Can't believe my luck! Going to Tahoe this week and wanted to to take my kid to Circus Circus for a day or two... and I just got a smokin deal on a room!
How many nights should I book??

Spoiler:
that's what they offered on the link. they consider that a $100/night deal?!

If you book 75+ nights, you will save a million dollars.

Do it! How often will you ever have the opportunity to do that?
06-09-2018 , 08:27 PM
You really can't afford NOT to book with that kind of savings.

You should jump on those fast...there's only two Master Suites on the property, the JaVale McGee and the Nima Jooyandeh. Lucky either of them are available TBH.

This must be an even BETTER deal then, because its only for a mini suite!

For those who don't frequent House of Blogs, amoeba has started a blog that's worth checking out https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...-more-1714463/

lapka,

The USA is a pretty diverse country. We have and know of most things. Like, I haven’t checked on this, but I’d be willing to bet you can get that birch sap drink like Tetemok (sp?) has somewhere, probably in NY.

For me OOT is the representation of USA. And birch sap, you should totally gather yourself.

Naaaa... on the serious note, I understand that USA includes very wide range of values, norms and also food habits. But nevertheless I think that the frequency of consumption is VERY different for some products in various countries.
06-10-2018 , 10:21 AM
Not sure if that was sarcastic... but OOT is not a good representative sample of the US.

Also, maple is sooooo much better than birch. Like, by at least an order of magnitude. We made maple syrup and my dad still does, although this year was not a good one.

This is true. USA#1 in general is not big on gruel.

lapka, don't listen to Brian. He's probably the only person in America who doesn't collect his own birch sap. Must be nice for rich people like him and Howard who can afford to just buy it in the store.

Half joke half serious. I am undecided with Canada. Are all Canadians like greg or like DZ?

Naaaahhhhh, you are just kidding. You know only about Canada stuff. I totally believe you that all Canadians are making their own maple syrup. I mean your flag speaks for itself.

Lapka,

Canadians are famous for not being like DZ. I guess you haven't watched South Park.
06-10-2018 , 02:16 PM
I’ve known quite a few expats and Canadians have almost without exception been pretty much like DZ likes to see himself- confident, outspoken, and mean. Is there some sort of emigration requirement for people like that?

**** you Brian you stupid piece of ****

Justin Trudeau is my new hero.

Giving Trump the finger and proving that just because Canucks are polite, don't mean they eat ****.

Dr Z and oreo

06-10-2018 , 07:16 PM
While Canadians are mostly polite, they are not nice necessarily.
