Some things that come to mind:

Bad: Crime, police, weapons, CNN, MS13, commercials, poverty, pharma drugs, fake friendliness or politeness, a place where actually no one gives a sht about anybody, Clinton, Hillary, Bush, Trump, obligatory tipping.

Good; popcorn with melted cheese add on in cinemas, New York, NBA, nature, WSOP, easier to make it for good businesses as huge market

best: restaurant variety and service

worst: saturation of beer snobs

LOL at the anti USA people.

Good to see the brainwashing is still rampant. Keep believing the stories the mass media want you to hear and not the real facts.

If the USA sucks so much then why are several hundred thousand(if not more) trying to cross the border illegally every year just to come here? What other country deals with that in the numbers like the USA?

I have something slightly different for you that comes to mind. Maybe you don't even quite realize it as it seems to be so cultural/standard in the US, but I'd name it fake, extremely excessive, enthusiasm.

I live in Geneva Switzerland, a place invaded by US/UK expats and I gotta say this is easily in the top 3 of most obnoxious 'murican things. They're always acting all "OMG GUUUURLLLL HOW ARE YOUUUUUUU ? BEEN SO LOOOONGGGG ! WE NEED TO GET LUNCHHHH OMGGGGG" all while in reality, barely giving a **** at all. This is the obnoxious guuuurl version, but the "Brehhh" version isn't exactly great either.

No need to pretend, besides this is way excessive and frankly a little weird.

It kinda feels that you're not really in touch with what's going on in Europe these days.

Of course, you have to treat Europe as a whole when you compare the numbers. It's only fair for obvious reasons.

This obviously isn't the thread to talk about it but it's rather crazy what happening in Europe. I feel Europe is always sort of the canary in the cage. It happens there first and then eventually gets to North America.

You see these raw videos of all these migrants roaming the roads and think man, that's a huge problem. You see all these people coming across on boats and think - Wow, that's bad news for everyone involved.

Because the US is a lot richer than Mexico. You won't find that many illegals crossing from Canada.

Have extensively drunk American beer in search of the great beer they uncharacteristically boast about being best in the world.

It suffers from being obvious, absolutely lacking in complexity, nuance or subtlety. HERE IS THE FLAVOUR, HERE----->DONT MISS IT, WE MADE IT SO OBVIOUS is american beer in a nutshell. Is in many ways America in a nutshell. Loud and obnoxious.

Its why there is such an obsession with hoppy IPA's etc because this is exactly how Hoppy IPA's work and why Yanklandians talk so much about Belgian beers, which whilst having more subtlety are very accessible, obvious and apparent in there flavour profile. Which is why in Europecultureland, Belgian beers are so popular with women.

So American beer is basically borish yanks untypically boasting about their greatness because their colonial palates are too one dimensional to appreciate the beers of older culturally superior nations.

You're right letting immigrants drown in the Mediterranian isn't nearly as bad. Italy has had 450,00 immigrants come into the country in the last 4-years. That must put them in a great deal of economic strain. I hope it gets sorted on both sides of the Atlantic.

FYI, No one is letting them drown, just insisting they are returned to Libya.
