You were joking here, right? Or do you actually think steak generally available in Britain is anywhere close to steak in America?

I actually think you were being sarcastic here and all the people who responded to you missed that. I hope...

No, you have evinced time and time again that you have very poor bordering on non existent comprehension skills.

Your best work is when you called me out for words not meaning what I thought they meant, when lol, they objectively did and conformed with the exact standard dictionary definition. It takes some Yanklandian skills to pull that off.

It could have been the sarcasm that fooled you.

You did manage to nitpick me on a correct spelling of their though.

Are not most cows in America fed on concrete and live in horrible industrial conditions and basically never see grass?

I live in the US and see pic #2 pretty frequently. I've never seen the #1 pic anywhere except online. There are tons of places that look like #2 on the East coast of the US.

Everything. The first pic is of a finishing lot. That is where cattle that is the proper age and size are fattened up quickly immediately prior to slaughter, which is what makes them delicious. This is done everywhere, so I'm not sure of the point of the pic.

The second pic is of the pasturing stage, which is how most beef cattle are raised everywhere in the world prior to being finished, so I'm not sure of the point of the pic.

My takeaway is that we have a lot more cows.

Doesn't really matter how the cows die imo, but what kind of life they have before the slaughter. And in the US cattle can enjoy the greatest array of great bottled beers on Earth.

The only thing that matters is how the Angus cows are aten. Just look at all the glorious toppings. You can even add ketchup.

In britain we feed our cows only the most delicious cow brains thereby intensifying to cow-ey flavour to it's fullest. It's cow squared.

USA#1 beef and beer, confirmed better than England. What other products do you want to be explained how they are inferior, OAK? Hotness of women, cars?

I assume that you are speaking from your vast knowledge of large animal husbandry. I can assure you that all cattle worth eating as steak end up on feedlots toward the end of their life. And they almost all start out in a cow's womb before moving onto a period in which they live on what the experts call a "pasture." This is true in every place on earth* where good steaks are produced.

Here is an interesting documentary on cattle husbandry:

*except for Japan, where they skip over the pasturing

Reminds of a stupid joke:

Why wouldn't the cow eat the hamburger?

She isn't a cannibal.

Historically England has absolutely fantastic car brands, though they're almost all owned by a foreign car company now.

Aston Martin
Bentley
TVR
Rolls Royce
Morgan
Jaguar
Land Rover
McLaren
MINI
Caterham

probably a few others

oaf still sucks though
