how about we compromise and the mods who close the thread do us all a solid and post a link to the new one before doing so - this way we get an easy transition and don't need to be on the ball about it and then play forum peekaboo finding the new one

very happy to hear pp got banned, that reboot of him was more intolerable than any other version yet

He even rank orders them in likelihood of my interest. It took a few months of back-and-forth but he finally figured it out. I think he had my list confused with tbabs' list for a while.

Well by posting in a thread you're subscribing to it, unless that's specific to my settings and I'm just unaware of it. I don't know what the argument is in favor of manually checking multiple forums every time you log in rather than having a subscriptions page be a landing page that gives you your threads across the subforum in one place. It's not that it's "so hard," it's just...why perpetually go with several subforum clicks per visit instead of one subscription page click?

FWIW, that rickroll link doesn't show me my subscribed threads even though it has a section header to that effect. I use this as my landing page: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/subscription.php

Not a big trip reporter, but just got back from 6 days in Vegas. 0 poker (I'm awful at NL anyway and not sure if I'll ever play poker again). Got killed in UTH and many nice meals were eaten. The wifi at PH is hot garbage. My wife had planned on remote working 3 days and wound up using my cell phone as a hotspot for some of it.
