Why lock old LC thread and no start new one?

December indeed...

I wanted to see if someone could start a decent one, but alas...

The beat poetry by Mike Myers was the oddest part of So I Married an Axe Murderer.

I like greasy-spoon diners. I'm in the Pantry in LA at the moment.

Yeah, that's where the thread title made my mind go. Better than Joey Lawrence I suppose.

Happy Christmas to me. Barely made it under the wire. Sold out in minutes.

Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs remastered copy of the greatest album ever recorded.

Whoa indeed. Not only seems like it got here quickly, but it's still ~70 degrees here in Denver. A very nice fall so far.

I thought about you today. I saw an ad for a Ninja and was wondering how your daughters hands were doing.

I bought several of those Original Master Recordings in the 80s and now they're worth a fortune. I wish I had purchased every one I ran across.

She'll never be a surgeon. One finger is permanently bent and she has some permanent nerve damage in another, but I'd say she made a 95 per cent recovery. And FYI, the product was a Nutribullet. Thanks for asking, Mark!

More generally, she's doing well -- head screwed on straight, super active, etc. etc.

Glad to hear she's doing ok. I recently rewatched The Dawn Wall documentary about a top climber who accidentally chopped off one of his fingers and went on to do things that no one else in climbing thought was possible with or without 10 fingers. Highly recommended.
