Life nits upset me.

A couple years back I had some friends out on my boat (this isn’t a humble brag, it’s a 28yo boat that wasn’t very expensive).

Anyways, a bunch of people were in the water, I was passing out beers, one friend asked me to light her a cigarette, I put my phone down on the back of a seat at the back of the boat, as she started climbing the ladder to grab it (the cigarette). When she did, she grabbed the back of the seat, which hinges up towards the water, phone slide right into the lake.

Another friend saw it and quickly grabbed the phone, but it was already 3ft down at that point. To make matters worse, I had dropped it a few days prior, and had an appointment the next day to get the screen replaced. So water got in right away and it shorted out.

Friend felt terrible and offered to cover it. I told her it was clearly an accident, and not to worry. Personally I felt it was just as much my fault for where I put the phone down. Phone was ruined, I upgraded to a new one and it cost me a few hundred dollars.

In your situation, id offer to buff out the scratch myself. I hear everything you’re saying about your wife’s embarrassment, so I’m the end I’d also probably just pay a reasonable amount to fix it, even though I’m the reverse, I’d never expect the other person to pay. If I did pay, I’d likely stop hanging out with those people.

Mrs Truant is a clear favorite.

Johnny, how old is she? Did you tell her that you love her no matter how big this bill will be? I mean.... That that is so not worth all the bad emotions she was feeling about it? That she is considered here as a hottie even without any pictures?

I mean...... make her feel better. Other stuff...... I am somehow completely sure you are able to regulate it just fine.

She is mid thirties. I did have exactly this convo with her, and we both acknowledged that we are fortunate to have this both be a big deal to us and not a big deal. There are far worse trials and tribulations others are facing right now and we have both faced and will face worse, and regardless we can pay the money.

You see how insufferable I am as a poster, she deals with me irl. She make it through this.

These threads always tilt the **** out of me. Just once I want someone who doesnt look at the life EV of these situations and instead absolutely sticks it to the nitty POS.

I don’t think the bet was STRONGER than 36Suited so much as more physically fit.

I Agree. Legits are a physically demanding task, so whoever can do more of them is indeed stronger.
