I love a good burger. I'm on a quest to find the best.

I say 5 guys makes the best burger. However, I have never had in and out and heard its damn good.

People on the east coast have a tendency to think 5 guys is good. Not because it's actual a good burger, but because it's only slightly better than the ****ty burgers that they are used to eating in that part of the country.

Dairy Queen's chili dogs are 1000% better than Sonic's.

Honestly even if you think the quality of five guys' burgers is highly debatable they EASILY have the best fries.

They are good. Straight up potato. And the stuff they bag. Had a Bacon Cheeseburger tonight with regular Cajun Fires and my bag was overflowing with them.

A regular fires could feed a family of four. I really gotta hit up in and out.

Johnny Rockets is another one that I forgot about when doing the poll (thatwhatshesaid) but they make a pretty good burger

god i went to five guys for lunch while on business in florida. i went to go pick up my burger/fries without the receipt in hand, and the guy behind the counter treated me like a ****in criminal. i had to trudge back to my table like a schmuck, grab it, then present it to him in order to redeem it for my precious food. not impressed. and wtf who wants to eat peanuts right before burger and fries? that doesnt make any goddamn sense

fuddruckers 1lb burger is unbeatable but much different than the rest in that it's not as fastfoody as the other options.

Culver's makes a good burger, but they do this upselling trick on me every time I eat there, assuming any order is the largest size possible without asking for disambiguation. Corrupt corporate culture for the loss. Whataburger's customer service is exemplary, and they play cool 50's and 60's music.

Also, a whataburger tastes better than a butterburger in my opinion.

Edit: I tried 5 Guys after the last FF thread, and I think I have to declare it the best. This year I'm gonna have it right before my flight to vegas, and then get in and out as soon as I get off to make a better comparison.

I've lived in SoCal and now Atl and have never lived more than 5 minutes from a 5 guys while here.

I'd vote in-n-out as tastier, but I love 5 guys too with all the extras. Still though in-n-out has tastier meat and flavor.
