Broomfield has been booming since I've moved out here, tons of new development. However, there's the original part of Broomfield (N of 120th, W of Main) which might fit your bill.
Typically 1960s era ranch houses (guessing based on the style), so smallish compared to modern houses, but seem nice from the outside. Not sure of prices though.
Will do, thanks! I have been looking at the Broadlands area as it seems to have its own golf course which is something I enjoy. I've heard good things about Louisville but housing seems more expensive there.
Can you expand on the winters there? I'm assuming they get snow and cold but you mentioned it melts pretty quickly... Don't they get large blizzards sometimes though. Is it warm enough in January to do outdoor stuff?
Also in the summer, does the area get very hot? I know humidity is pretty low there but I'm assuming the heat can be tough in the summer. Also, I know the area gets lots of sun, but does it also get the late day thunderstorms that are typical on the east coast?
