On August 9, 1945, the list of cities to be targeted for 2nd Atomic Bomb contained two names. Kokura was the primary. But on that day, cloud cover over Kokura obscured the target. Nagasaki, the secondary, was bombed.

As for Magellan, he got killed in the Philippines long before his crew made it to Spain. He never circumnavigated.

Depends. In 2015, Charlie Weis was the highest paid coach both at Notre Dame and Kansas even though he was fired by both schools in the past. I think over his career, he got paid a total of $65mil for doing nothing. I would take that over almost every job.

Manziels problem was that Cleveland could void his rookie contract for cause, otherwise they would have had to pay him another two years after cutting him. He still got around $6mil for not doing very much over two years.

Matthew Robinson
Finished second place in the 1936 Olympic 200 meter dash to Jesse Owens. He lost by .4 seconds, robinson's time as well was a record at the time but Owens got all the glory for finishing 1st etc...

On top of finishing 2nd to Owens, his younger brother is Jackie Robinson the famous baseball player.

Don't get the Buzz Aldrin one to be honest but I'm interested in the moon programme so I can rattle off the names of most of the moonwalkers without thinking about it. I think the astronauts on later missions got the better deal as they got to spend 2-3 days exploring the moon whilst Aldrin and Armstrong only spent a few hours wandering about.

I always thought that John Young had the best career. Went to the moon twice, landed on it once spending a couple of days there and is the only person to command a Gemini spaceship, Apollo command module, Apollo lunar module and Space Shuttle.

What's weirder is the entire swearing on the bible thing is only from a mind who can't imagine someone might not be a christian hinges on the entire deal. I mean imagine pushing that nonsense on an atheist or someone of another belief, it's just a pointless exercise and is a huge part of our legal system. Weak minds are allowed to run ****. It's quite pathetic on a large scale.
