With the Vegas water I find the dish washer leaves them more disgusting. I do mine by hand.

You mean you haven't sprung for a Goettl water purity system?

I know this is a terrible take but while I’m a huge sandwich fan I’m not a torta fan. Every time I’ve decided to go torta over tacos at a ghetto gas station taco truck I always regret not getting the tacos.

Sorry not sorry.

I'm pretty sure taking a sandwich over tacos is always a mistake regardless. Because tacos.

Not gonna pretend like I also don't prefer tacos over basically any sandwich.

Tortilla > a bread

Word up, for torta fillings at least. And fresh flour tortillas> fresh corn tortillas.

I'm all about flour tortillas, Ive been throwing raw ones on a flat iron. ****ing great. Rubbed a couple up with butter while on the iron and then sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. I borderline dislike corn tortillas.

Corn for tacos, flour for burritos/quesadillas imo. I get freshly made corn tortillas where I'm at, and they're pretty awesome.

Do we need a taco thread or do we need to revive one?

My favorite ghetto taco truck. It’s a work Friday tradition, “ghetto taco truck Friday”.

i don't get tortas as a rule, but when i do it's usually from a mexican place i frequent way too much and want to mix it up.

for me it's generically burrito>street tacos>tortas>crunchy tacos

tacos>>burritos>>>>>>>>tortas

If some mexican joint is frying up their own corn crunchy shell I'd definitely do that before a torta.

Tostadas? I really like tostada ceviche, hold the tomato sauce or whatever. I always add my own hot sauce.

Tostadas are stupid. Just give me some tortilla chips and the goods in a bowl.

Speaking of tortilla > bread, here is a prime example.
A delicious grilled bratwurst sandwich, just the way God intended:

Bighurt,
I upgraded the plate just for you. Haven't gone full washable yet, but I hope to get there soon!
