Pickle chips aren’t that uncommon. I’ve had several variations. In a way similar to vinegar chips.
I need to get these chips but I buy chips less than 10 times a year and I went to my favorite gas station taco truck and bought a bag of Takis while waiting
yep. i like the cold, crisp crunch and they have a bit of moisture.
from bottom to top
cream cheese
tillamook sharp cheddar
avocado (heavily peppered)
red onion
tomato (salted) i intentionally put the three of these together to make a guac like combo
pepper turkey
mung bean sprouts
brown deli mustard
Can confirm that the truffle sea salt kettle chips are excellent. A bag doesn't last very long in my household. We usually pop em open while putting the groceries away. And they rarely make it to the end of that task.
Made a breakthrough discovery yesterday that the thinly slice ribeye sold by H-Mart for things like Bulgolgi beef is perfect for a Philly cheesesteak. Made a couple on the Blackstone griddle last night. No pics because I cooked them after sunset with my headlamp on; will do them again and document.
No Philly specific rolls marketed in stores here in Portland, OR. Tried Grand Central, a local bakery but they were closed. On the hunt now.

Thought someone else had mentioned this as well, actually thought you? I think I may try this over the weekend. Here I’m thinking the Vietnamese bakeries that supply bread for banh mi might work.
what do the Philly experts think about Amoroso rolls? i've seen them mentioned in several different places as one of the go-to's for a cheesesteak, and it looks like they flash freeze and send anywhere in the country.

Could be I had the thought and expressed it here. Only pulled the trigger on buying and preparing it a few days ago.
