fat skrimps are the best skrimps. more forgiving on the cook.
spouse peeled and poop-shooted them. $12 a pound wasn’t cheap but decent for the meal.

That's not what I had originally written but changed it after writing "hard shell taco" because "hard taco" didn't sound right and I wanted to be consistent.

I’m not saying tacos are sandwiches, but I am definitely okay with them being posted here, so long as it doesn’t become a tacos only thread (but I’m not against one of those either). Will say that I believe tortas would be more in line with the spirit of the thread.

you just made me realize that even though we frequently cook mexican food i've never made my own tortas. sounds like i need to head to the local panaderia and get some teleras or bolillos to fix that.
