spouse breaded chicken strips and cooked in the air fryer again.
hot buffalo sauce, mayo, and thicc pickles on a burger bun

edit: i honestly have no idea what that black olive looking thing is in the second picture..it’s kinda freaking me out.

shame on me for not taking pics this morning, but fully intend to make the same sandwich tomorrow so here's a preview/teaser:

toasted everything bagel
smoked turkey
cream cheese
avocado
tomato
shallot
sprouts
sharp cheddar

i've come to the conclusion an everything bagel is the glitter filled birthday card of the bakery world. you're really happy to get one, but the mess it leaves is a PITA and you never really seem to be able to remove every last trace of it.

I love everything bagels but I don’t like them toasted because the onion gets burned often and ruins the whole thing for me.

Now i want a Pop's cheesesteak, haven't been there in probably 8ish+ years specifically due to their location in town. Come to think of it i cant even recall the last time ive even had a cheesesteak let alone a really good memorable one...

Mal - i agree, but we have a bagel setting on the toaster that only toasts the cut side.

Bagel sandwiches are great so long as you have a good bagel and ingredients. Pretty much the same as any sandwich. Good bread/croissant/roll/whatever and good ingredients, you’re good.

I am referring to beef on weck rather than Villian's pictured masterpiece.

From the link I am guessing we don't have that particular roll around here or any deli that has au jus available. I could well be wrong, so I'll keep my eyes open. At least I know to look for it now.
