Also, I don't think a hot dog is a sandwich, but I think maybe a hamburger is. Pizza - no. Fry bread, stuffed with red chili pork - yes, sprinkled with powdered sugar or honey - no.

Tabasco DOES have a flavor. It tastes like itself: vinegary and spicy hot. It's very good on some things. It's not a super complex flavor, but I don't require that my hot sauce be distilled from the essence of the finest organic heirloom peppers danced into a paste under the feet of nubile virgins. And combined with xanthan gum.
Sometimes a condiment is just a condiment.
That said, mad mad love for spicy mustard. It makes everything delicious, even plain crackers and cheese.
