That egg is perfect. You could put that on a piece of boot leather and I'd eat it.

Nice.

Nice. One of my favourite meals. I like to add a bit of fried chorizo too.

Egg looks great. For me maybe a Lyle cracked pepper but yes please put all that in my pie hole.

i like gravy, but have never made gravy just to make gravy (ie...thinman)

some of this 'gravy' is a burnt can of cream of mushroom right?

Gravy that’s shown is almost as easy to make as opening a can of Campbell’s cream of mushroom, which I’m sure is right in line with your culinary talent.

Egg was salt and peppered when I put it in pan. Now some hot sauce on top maybe, sure.

I like it on a sandwich or scrambled, but on a nice over easy, it distracts too much from the main event.

+1 Vinegary one cuts through the richness of the egg and avocado nicely

Best part of making ramen is cracking and plopping two eggs into the steaming pot.

I'm all over that for lunch tomorrow. And a pinch of hot sauce?

Do you mix it like egg drop soup, or just let them poach?

Has to be the former.

That also depends on the mood. Most often, I will just poach— I like having direct control of my yolk while consuming. I’ll pierce one immediately to let it run, while avoiding the second egg. I let the second one’s yolk solidify a little more before shredding it up into eggy bits with my fork.

Occasionally, I’ll string one egg out like egg drop. But, I always poach the other one.

Can't argue with that plan.

So, the packet, maybe some salt and pepper, and hot sauce if the mood hits?

Im definitely going to do that this evening. I haven't in quite some time. I think Im going to beat two eggs in a bowl and slowly drizzle in. Then will had cayenne sauce.

If you’re using the premade packet thing, no do not add any more salt. I do my ramen from scratch now (it’s super easy). But, when I did use the packets, I would use only a quarter of one— definitely not more than half. Those packages are basically just salt and MSG.

I only use about half the salt packet.
