Picked up a 12v FM transmitter. Bought a 2004 beater corolla for a cross country drive which didn't have an aux input. Too lazy to install a stereo so googled my options and found out that these things exist.

You plug them into the 12v outlet, adjust them to an FM band, adjust your car stereo to the same band, and they act as a mini radio station of your own music. Most of them support bluetooth so you can use your phone as the source, or you can stick in a USB drive or an SD card full of music.

They only broadcast about 30 feet so you don't interfere with existing FM stations.

Did you google that on an iphone 1? Those things have been around for years.

I have 3 aeropresses (one home, one work, one at my parents house), 1 pourover cone (like this), and the chemex.

I think they're all good and I use them all. I use the aeropress every day at work for speed and simplicity. At home on the weekends I'll use the aeropress if I have plans and am likely to be out of the apt, but use the chemex if people are coming for breakfast or if I'm just hanging around and am likely to drink a few cups.

Aeropress is more versatile, more consistent, and very fast.

Chemex is more enjoyable for me in terms of the routine/ritual, is very pleasing to look at, and brews more coffee at once.

In terms of final result, either one is a good choice as they both make great coffee. Aeropress a bit more idiot proof.

Cool. Thanks. I'll just stick to the AP I guess. Last thing I need is to have more coffee stuff, lol. I already have a small suitcase full of coffee gear I drag around with me when I'm traveling.

Bought an awesome beard trimmer for 20 bucks.
Bought a nifty little alarm clock/radio for 12 bucks that I love. It has green illuminated numerals, even has preset buttons like a car radio.
Bought a Fry Daddy to fry chicken and onion rings in, haven't actually used this yet. Fried chicken GOAT food.

It's not necessarily faster for meats (sometimes it is), just less work and easier cleanup. It's way faster for some things like beans though. You can also do it with a timer so put it all in the instant pot in the morning and have it ready to go when you get home. All of the meals I have tried have come out excellent so far, very juicy chicken. I've mostly just thrown like two chicken breasts on the bottom and some potatoes or veggies on the top rack and haven't tried stews or anything yet. I prefer it a lot to a crock pot, because in a crock pot if you put in chicken and potatoes, it all ends up tasting the same, but the instant pot keeps individual flavors really well. I also got a rice cooker as well, and that thing is awesome as well. It will probably pay for itself, because I now buy those 15-30lb rice bags instead of instant rice. Much better rice than I personally ever was able to make in a pot. The instant pot can do rice as well, but I like to do the rice in the rice cooker, and then put meats in the instant pot.
I bought an instant pot to get rid of my ricecooker, one of us is doing it wrong.

Size: small

I giggled for like 20 mins, and every time I've thought of it since. In theory I was going to give it as a gag gift, but I'm going to have a hard time letting that sweet baby go.

Cold brew maker from Target. I got it on sale for $14 but I guess it's $20 now. Really well made. Not super cheap like the Vremi one on Amazon, which ranks as the worst purchase I've recently made.

Which mattress did you go with and do you like it? I'm about to pull the trigger on a Leesa mattress because it seems to get the best reviews online, but trying to find someone on here that can confirm/deny.

Mostly want something that's not too firm or too soft and won't sag in the middle over time. Also I don't really like the warmth that memory foam gives. This ones because of the bouncier topper seems like it might avoid that.

Picked up one of those bluetooth enabled mini OBDII readers for $12. Pretty sweet if you are curious about your car and/or want to be able to clear codes without disconnecting the battery.

Citizen Eco-Drive watch. Got sick of the batteries dying in all my other watches so I got this since they can supposedly last forever. We'll see.
