This is what I found 12 or 15 years ago when the ex and I got one after they first came out. Nice little sweeper, not a vacuum.

I felt like the roomba didn't actually clean the floor at all. First day as a roomba owner i was eating pretzels and a piece of one broke and fell on the floor. Great time to use the charged-up roomba! After 70 minutes of staring at both the roomba as it bounced off stuff and the pretzel as it sat in front of me, i had the buyers' remorse. And, generally, it only brushes the top of your carpet, it doesn't suck the dirt or dust out. I dunno, maybe people without carpet love them.

Mostly it was good for staring at as me and my roommate got drunk and talked about all the important stuff 24 year olds talk about. Betting on whether it would randomly wander into the bathroom or bedroom first was fun.
LOL, but you know what is fun too take some coins and lay them out on the floor and whoevers coins are al touched first takes them all, or you can put a amount on any coin, had a lot of fun with that game, and surprisingly works best with some alcohol in you lol.
And here in the Netherlands there are not very much good ones either, but as you said they are great for games.

Petjax,

He's saying diminishing returns are a bitch when it comes to PCs after that first $2k-$2.5k area, which is true. First because actual performance/dollar improvements scale very incrementally beyond that point, second because you're unlikely to maximize the power of either...your applications/games aren't likely to maximize it, you probably can't optimize performance the way a hobbyist can even if you could. The more you know.

Nothing to get butthurt and hypersensitive about. Unless you want to. [I'm okay with that because you forum-spaz like 9-year-old on Call of Duty and it's funny.] But really it's just a fact of PC building that's never going to change.

Etekcity Energy Saving Programmable Remote Control Electrical Plug & Outlet

Have had these about a month, and they work really well while I'm in a house that has awkward light and outlet placement. I've got one remote connected right by the front door, and now I don't have to walk around in the dark to get to a light across the room.

That's why I was thinking of going for the Neato, it's a vacuum rather than a sweeper like the Roomba. Cheaper too. But no good for betting on as it does the job systematically.

This Ion Air Pro action cam is pretty good. Most (if not all) the features of the latest GoPro Hero4 at less than 1/4 the price. Works really well.

And how in gods name do you or him know what I spend on this pc?.

You 2 are acting like you have all the bills in front of you and then start blapping like you know exactly what I have spend.

So I have looked especially for you 2 what I have spend on the hardware and case of my pc, and I can tell you it is 2200 euro, so are you happy now?.

So next time just ask before some-one starts assuming and write all that bs, or is it jealousy/resentment?, that would be even sadder.

And if it is not I advice to use a different kind of tone, because it is very attacking and accusing, sounds something like a forum-spaz like 9 year old.

And by the way I am still happy like a 9 year old with my pc and monitor and sound system HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

And I love my new chair too i can sit for many hours with not a bit of discomfort or stiff legs, back, ass or whatever, truly a gift from heaven for people like me that can sit for up to 16 hours a day behind my computer. http://www.amazon.com/Aeron-Chair-He...0_SR160%2C160_

Only looking for a good computer desk, but a friend of mine says he can build the ultimate computer-desk, that is fully adjustable in every way [height, angle, and size] so if anyone has any tips that he or she thinks I a better alternative , I be grateful.

Ill address this since you directly mentionned me, and will leave this dumb derail at that.

Anyone that's the slightest computer savvy knows what an entry, decent, great or top of the line computer costs. Computers gets more and more powerfull over the years, but the prices scaling has remained the same for pretty much 10-15 years now. If you ACTUALLY - which you apparently did not - pick the very best CPU, GPU, Motherboard, RAM, SSD, RAM, PSU, case etc etc, you can expect a ~$4k bill for the case and its contents alone. 2x $1k GPU, and you're already half there. Now if you add some good peripherals, an extended warranty and whatnot, you're easily at $5k. Hence why we figured that price. Go have a look at the sickest rigs Alienware sells, you'll see what i'm talking about.

Now it turns out the people that helped you build your computer were actually smart about it, and didn't double your bill for the sake of an extremely small performance gain. Good for you. But your initial post was very misleading.

Congratz on what is probably a very nice rig, and stop being so insecure about things.

On topic,

Nice chair too, Petjax, yours was definitely on my shortlist before I decided to treat myself with a

Wilkahn On

that I finally liked better. About the same price range. Super happy about it.

Ok but remarks like "Nice not so thinly veilled brag, though :P" are clear enough how the rest of the post is meant and/or could be interpreted, and believe me insecurity is or was never a problem for me, and you interpret it like that I leave for your account, but I can assure you that that is a wrong assumption on your part.

And granted I have used the words "the best" where I should have used the words "good quality" and that is misleading fair enough.

And using words as dumb derail, say more about you then about being it a dumb derail, and your words leaving it at that I agree with and I will do so too.

Have you tried the chair I have bought?, if so then the chair you have bought instead must indeed be a great chair.

But I am 1.94m big, and my chair was recommended for people my height, but I have to say that I did not tried or come across the chair you have, but there are so much chairs to choose from, and I hope to find a good table too, that is adjustable in height, and angle otherwise I let my friend make me one, but that is going to take some time, knowing what a perfectionist he is, but the guy is a brilliant fabricator with wood iron and glass, and has made some beautiful furniture and speakers, but time will tell.

But hey we are both happy with our chair, so that is what counts right?.

Version 1 unfortunately as I can't justify spending 2k on the new lens.

I let my roomba run twice a week and my carpet stays really clean. It's low pile berber-type if that makes a difference. Biggest problem is it chewing up cords like my Mac charger cord.

About 90% of the time when I get home it's not at the station. I've found it hidden in some of the weirdest places that I can't figure out how it could have gotten into.

Sway & Go Self Balancing Two Wheel Electric Scooter

Super fun riding this thing around. It works best on smooth surfaces but you can ride it on sidewalks too as long as you watch out for big bumps or holes. It's surprisingly responsive and easy to control.

Anyone else tried one of these before?

Wow, they've really come down in price. I remember someone posted that thing last year and it was $1600+

$500 is still pricy though.

Ya it's a bit of a splurge but it's a lot of fun. I wouldn't pay over 1k for it.

I saw someone riding one around the park on the bike/walk path and while neat looking I couldn't help but think he might be better off walking and burning a few calories instead. :P

I just got a pair of Footjoy DNA golf shoes, and they're amazing. By far the best golf shoe I've ever worn. They're super comfortable, and I also got a sick deal for $99 at Dick's Sporting Goods. The only bad thing I can say about them is that you can see the spike below your toes while standing and looking down from above, which can be slightly distracting while putting until you get used to it. Never the less, the comfort is unparalleled in my opinion and they're definitely worth getting.

I also bought a Sun Mountain C130 cart bag and it's pretty sweet. I love the way the straps go under the compartments, and there's tons of space.

I left my old one behind at a hotel by accident, so I ordered a new Mediflow Waterbase Pillow. I love these things - you can adjust the firmness by putting in the appropriate amount of water, and they provide great neck support. $35 at Amazon.

If you tell me the instructions don't involve drinking X glasses of water along with your alcohol or before you go to bed I will be impressed.
