If OTT has taught me anything it's that adults shouldn't drink parmesan cheese thru a straw, let alone a plastic straw.

Best thing I bought recently is a quick charging integrated USB outlet.

Yeah. I was more of a toter. Didn't suggest clubs or read greens (unless asked). Basically just carried the bag, cleaned clubs and gave yardage. I also only carried one bag.

Some of the old ladies would have me read greens. They usually tipped more than the men.

Completely wireless earbuds. $40 or $45 on Amazon.

I've entered the 2019th year of our lord.

JBL Flip 4 (other sizes available)

Great way to bring music/audio to your pool or campsite. I'm even thinking I could mount this on the handlebars of my metric cruiser and have tunes on the road. Plenty loud.

Also, Silipints!

Great for around the pool (No glass at the pool!) Also good at music festivals, camping, etc.

Sick brag (16oz tumbler) or sick burn (shot glass)

Why not both!?!

Actually, I have a set that includes both shot glasses and pint glasses (frosted 'glass') and one that includes tumblers and pint glasses (tye-dye). Both have the adult sippy cup lid for the tumblers/pint glasses.

Nice! Completely agree about a little extra kick but chop up a jalapeno and you've got a stew going on

That sounds like a territory I want to be in.

I found it on Amazon: https://smile.amazon.com/Chefs-Choic...ay&sr=8-3&th=1

Have not ordered yet because the ingredients look very basic, but maybe it's awesome.

Usually with members I would ask if they had extra balls or junk they didn't need. But since it was a guest I just let it ride.

The first 9 holes were absolute torture. It was super hot, he sucked at golf so running around finding his ball was a problem every hole. He was just a cocky rich kid.

We get up to the 10th tee and he goes in his bag and pulls out a 6 pack for him and his buddies. I almost lost it. I just carried this schmucks beer around for 9 holes and we are now standing feet away from where started the round. I could have put them in the fridge and carried a much lighter bag. Instead he got to drink warm, shaken up beer and have a pissed off caddy.

Spoiler:
he tipped me with a one hundred dollar bill and I put it towards the bike I wanted. Biggest caddying tip I had ever received
Dying of allergies while double bagging for these out of town 20+ handicappers playing an insanely difficult course they had no business on was pure torture. Until they gave me $200 each as pity. Took me like 10 years to beat that personal daily take record that was set at like 19 yo lol

Bose NC 700 headphones.

I had been using the Sony WH-1000XM3 since they came out so I didn't really see the need for Bose NC 700 but I recently tried them out on a whim anyway.

Sound and NC performance are about the same. However, the Bose can maintain BT connection to both my laptop and the phone and that makes it a huge winner for me.

I'm looking at the sony wf-1000xm3 instead of wh for the same reason. True wireless earbud are one of the best new designs of this decade.

I rejected WF-1000xm3 because switching devices was really painful. They don't show up as connected on both devices so you have to switch (manually disconnecting on a device.) I bypassed this by connecting to laptop with the 3.5mm jack so I didn't mind as much.

With the WF-1000xm3, sometimes one ear would connect while the other doesn't in the switching. And even when the switching works, they'd announce "Bluetooth disconnected" "bluetooth disconnected."

NC 700 on the other hand shows up as connected on both the laptop and iPhone all the time so it's completely seamless to switch from listening to music on the laptop to taking a phone call on the phone. This is really just Bose knowing its audience (corporate road warriors) and putting in the research to improve user experience.

I'm looking forward to the Bose Earbuds 700. The headphones 700 is going to be what I use at home and in the office and the earbuds (finally replacing QC20) what I use on the road.

The WF-1000xm3 are really good earbuds. It's just that specific use case of switching devices is very buggy. If I used the earbuds exclusively with only my phone I'd be very happy with them.

In practice what really happens is with the QC20, I just switch the jack (including attaching the annoying iphone lightning dongle) really quickly and get on my call. With the WF-1000xm3, it's impossible to switch quickly and realiably so I end up having to actually hold up the phone to take the call.
