What's the best thing you bought recently? - Page 22 - Other Topics Forum - Discuss Pop Culture, Arts and Entertainment

I'm so indecisive I get overwhelmed choosing between a handful of games. I'd just spend my time looking through that lot, maybe playing a few minutes of one or two, then quitting to the next one in case it's better.

Galaga, Joust, Tron, Dig Dug, Q*bert, Donkey Kong, 1942
i grew up in the 80's and we sure didn't spend our lunch money on actual food.
then i discovered pinball machines, where if you were good enough you could actually get free games. that's where i spend the bulk of my time in the late 80's.

lots of video game emulators available if you want to relive the glory days.

I think my favorite arcade game was Robotron. Probably can't get that on an emulator cabinet considering the double joystick set up.

fast pace ms. pacman was my fave since i was good at it when little. I kept repeating the red board, then it seemed like a random mix of previous boards. Very daunting when you eat the power pellet and all the ghosts reverse directions but never turn

I play Gorf a lot lately. Awesome game and it isn't really hard to kill the mothership.
